Police race to incident at quarry in Kilsyth

Police raced to the scene of an incident at a quarry in Lanarkshire this evening.

Images from the Auchenstarry Quarry in Kilsyth, taken at around 9pm on Tuesday July 21, show a heavy presence of emergency services.

Fire, police and ambulance teams can be see at the site.

The circumstances surrounding the incident is unknown at this time, but the teams have reportedly now left the scene.

Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.
