Police race to 'incident' at holiday park in Dumfries

Police are probing an incident at a Scots holiday park.

Emergency services were called to Southerness Holiday Park in Dumfries earlier today.

Locals spotted a significant police presence in the area and a spokesperson for the park confirmed police were probing an incident there.

A spokesperson for Southerness Holiday Park said:“There has been an incident at the park, and we are helping police with their enquiries.

"As this is a police matter, we can’t comment further.”

Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
