A woman was found dead in Glasgow this morning.
Govan Road was cordoned off after police received reports of a woman injured at around 4.20am.
The 45-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her death is being treated as unexplained at the moment, however there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.20am on Saturday, November 30, officers were called to a report of a woman injured in Govan Road, Glasgow.
"Police and ambulance attended and the 45-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Enquiries are ongoing in the local area to establish more information on her death.
"A post mortem examination will take place in due course, however at this time the death is being treated as unexplained, however there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances at this time."
