Police race to Glasgow's south side after serious attack

Police are probing a serious assault in Glasgow tonight.

Emergency services raced to Maxwell Road in the south side of the city after reports of the incident at around 5.40pm.

Cops taped off the entrance to a block of flats as officers stood guard outside.

Police say enquiries are at an early stage.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland told the Scottish Sun: "Officers were called to the report of a serious assault on a man in Maxwell Road in Glasgow at around 5.40pm tonight, Thursday, 15 October 2020.

"Enquiries are at an early stage. "
