Police race to block of flats in Glasgow after body of woman found

Police have raced to a block of flats in Glasgow after woman's body was found after she suddenly died.

Officers were called to the area at Cumlodden Drive in the Maryhill area of the city after the body was found at around 5.25pm on Tuesday April 6.

Police confirmed they are still in attendance.

The grim find has launched a frantic investigations as police probe the death.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to an address in Cumlodden Drive at around 5.25pm on Tuesday, 6 April, 2021 following a sudden death of a woman.

"Enquiries are ongoing and a police presence remains in the area."
