Police race to A90 crash after minibus skids off road

A minibus has skidded off the road and crashed into a field on the A90.

First responders were called to the scene south of Fraserburgh at around 3.30pm.

Police and the ambulance service were joined by two fire crews.

It is understood the vehicle came off the road and ended up in a field in the single-vehicle crash.

No one is thought to have been seriously injured in the crash.

A SFRS spokeswoman said: "We attended with two appliances on the A90, just south of Fraserburgh.

"We received calls at around 5.37pm.

"It involved one private minibus, it is in the field beside the main road."

A Police Scotland spokeswoman added: "The incident was reported to us at 3.30pm I believe the people in the vehicle are now out so there doesn't appear to be any life threatening injuries. Ambulances are at the scene.
