Police publish CCTV images amid probe into Celtic vs Rangers disorder

POLICE have released a series of CCTV images of people they say can help with inquiries into the disorder which happened before the 2023 Scottish League Cup final.

The 11 pictures show males who officers think could shed light on the violence which occurred outside Hampden Stadium on February 26.

The Old Firm clash inside between Celtic and Rangers saw the Hoops emerge victorious.

A double from Kyogo Furuhashi won the game 2-1 for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Police said previously that disorder took place after fans of both clubs had been granted access to Hampden Park by the stadium operators to set up displays ahead of the game.

The newly released images can be seen below.

Anyone who may recognise the people shown in the images, or who has any information which may assist is asked to contact police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 0933 of Saturday, 26 February, 2023.

Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
