Police: Providence man intercepted after stealing Brady jersey from Patriots Hall of Fame

PROVIDENCE, R.I. _ A 33-year-old Providence man was intercepted after stealing memorabilia, including a Tom Brady jersey from an exhibit inside the Patriots Hall of Fame, according to the Foxboro police.

The department reported the news in a post on its Facebook page under this title, "Police make interception on items stolen from Patriots Hall of Fame."

Contacted by security at the stadium Thursday, police officers went to the stadium and, working with security guards, tracked down the suspect in the parking lot. He was wearing the jersey under his jacket, according to the police.

He was taken into custody, charged with larceny and taken to court in Wrentham for arraignment, the police said.

The suspect's name was not included in the post, but the Sun Chronicle of Attleboro identified him as Zainin Cineus.
