Police provide update on motorbike crash which left rider in serious condition

A road in Nottinghamshire has reopened following a serious crash involving a motorbike and a car.

The incident happened in Forest Road, Warsop, at around 5pm on Bank Holiday Monday (May 25).

Nottinghamshire Police closed the road in both directions for more than seven hours while investigations continued, but the force says it reopened at around 12.50am on Tuesday, May 26.

The rider of the motorbike remains in hospital "for treatment of serious injuries".
