Police probing "unexplained" death of woman in Paisley

Police are treating the death of a woman in Paisley as "unexplained".

Her body was discovered within a house in Darkwood Crescent, in the Fergulsie Park area of the town, yesterday.

A post-mortem is set to be carried out but the Express understand there are no suspicious circumtances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a woman was found at an address in Darkwood Crescent in Paisley, on Monday, July 20.

“The death is being treated as unexplained pending a post-mortem examination and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
