Police probing fan disorder at Kilmarnock v Rangers match release pictures of 20 men

Police have released images of 20 men they believe can help with inquiries into "various incidents" which occurred at a match involving Kilmarnock and Rangers.

Before the game at Rugby Park on the opening day of the Scottish Premiership season on August 4, a large number of Rangers fans became stuck outside the ground due to printing problems with tickets. A crush then developed after a gate was opened and fans rushed to enter.

The game also ended in dramatic fashion and a pitch invasion followed Connor Goldson's 91st-minute header which secured a 2-1 victory for Rangers.

Police would like to trace these 10 men as they may be able to help with inquiries (PA)

TV footage also appeared to show a number of people climbing on to the shelter above the area for disabled supporters, which collapsed as the jubilant fans celebrated the winning goal.

A statement from Police Scotland said: "Officers from Police Scotland are releasing images of 20 men who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries in relation to various incidents which occurred at Rugby Park, Kilmarnock, on August 4.
