Police probing attempted robbery at Glasgow King's Park shop release CCTV image

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with an attempted robbery in the south side.

The incident unfolded at around 12.30pm on Monday, January 24 at the Scotmid store on Aitkenhead Road in the King's Park area.

The man pictured in the CCTV is described as aged between 25 to 30, around 6ft with a shaved head.

He was wearing a black, hooded puffy jacket with motif on the left arm, a blue top, denim jeans and black trainers with white soles. He was also carrying a black Adidas rucksack.

Detective Constable Natalie Timothy said: “I would urge the man pictured to get in touch. Likewise, anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to contact us.

"Anyone with information that could assist with enquiries is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1492 of Monday, 24 January 2022, or to make a call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 080 555 111."
