Police probe 'unexplained death' of man at Ibrox flats

A man has died at a block of flats in Ibrox, police have confirmed.

Officers are probing the 'unexplained death' of the 30-year-old at a flat on Skene Close, just off Paisley Road West.

Paisley Road West was shut down by police after the they responded to an incident in the area near Ibrox Stadium at 9pm last night.

Police say a post mortem examination will take place as an investigation into the death is launched.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: "Police enquiries are ongoing into the death of a 30 year-old man within a flat in Skene Close, Glasgow on Saturday, 21 March, 2020.

"A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, however meantime officers are treating the death as unexplained.

"A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
