Police are appealing for information on a suspicious incident after a man jumped out of a moving car yesterday evening.
Officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident on Thursday on Glasgow Road, Dumfries, to get in touch.
Around 6pm, it was reported that two men were within a black Mitsubishi car when a male passenger got out of the car while it was being driven north on the A76 and jumped over a wall.
The driver of the vehicle stopped the car and then jumped out of the passenger’s side of the vehicle as a fight kicked off between the two.
The driver then got back inside of the car and drove off - leaving the other male behind.
Police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time or has information to get in touch on 101, quoting PDG0143670721.
