Police in Musselburgh are investigating a "potential assault" following an altercation between an adult and a group of youths in the town.
Officers want anyone who witnessed a disturbance on Delta Drive at around 5pm on Friday (22 January) to come forward. They are still trying to establish the full circumstances, and the exact nature of the disturbance.
They say the adult is described as being a white man in his late 20s, and was around 5ft 10ins tall. He was wearing a white, blue and black tracksuit.
East Lothian Police add: "Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this or who has information in relation to the incident to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting Incident reference number 2306 of 22/01/2021.
"Alternatively information can be provided anonymously by contacting CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111."
