Police probe pair 'caught performing sex act' on Glasgow-Edinburgh train

A PAIR have been caught during a sex act on board a Glasgow to Edinburgh train.

The man and woman travelled from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley at around 7pm on Saturday, June 8.

Shortly after the service left the station, the woman was seen performing a sex act on the man, while sitting in the seats closest to the doors at the back of the train.

They were interrupted by a guard doing his checks.

British Transport Police have identified the pair and an investigation was launched into the indecent act.

Officers are seeking witnesses to the incident.

The man is described as white, in his late thirties, of regular build, with a greying short scruffy beard and facial tattoos.

He was wearing a black baseball cap, black hoodie and jeans. He was also carrying a black backpack.

The woman was white, in her thirties, of regular build, with blonde hair and was wearing a dark fur coat and black trousers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40 or by texting 61016 – with reference 554 of June 8.

Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
