Police probe launched into ‘sudden death’ of man after body found at Aberdeenshire house

A police investigation has been launched after a man’s body was discovered at a house in Dyce.

Emergency services were called to the property in Corrennie Circle when the alarm was raised at around 9.05am on Tuesday, February 23.

A 54-year-old man was found to have sadly passed away inside the home.

Investigators say his death is being treated as “unexplained” but that it is not believed to be suspicious.

Their enquiries into the full circumstances remain ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 9.05am on Tuesday, 23 February, police were called to an address in Corrennie Circle, Dyce, Aberdeen after a 54-year old man was found dead within.

"Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding his death which at this time police are treating as unexplained but not suspicious.

“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
