Police probe launched in Springburn after body found in stairwell of flats

A police investigation is underway after the body of a man was discovered in a stairwell of flats in the Springburn area of Glasgow.

The body was found within a block of high-rise flats.

Police are treating the death as unexplained.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "About 7.50pm on Thursday, August 22, 2019, a body of a man was discovered in a stairwell in Balgrayhill Road in Springburn

"The death is being treated as unexplained meantime and an investigation is underway."
