Police probe hit and run on Chorlton Road

Greater Manchester Traffic Police are appealing for witnesses after a driver failed to stop after colliding with a pedestrian on Chorlton Road, Manchester.

The incident took place on November 29 at 6.10pm and emergency services were deployed to treat the injured pedestrian.

Officers have been conducting investigations after the driver sped off and did not stop following the incident.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the road traffic collision or anyone who has any information about the incident. Police are particularly interested to hear from anyone with possible dashcam footage.

Greater Manchester Police tweeted at 9.56pm tonight: "WITNESS APPEAL: 29/11/2021 @ 18:10 hrs a vehicle hit a pedestrian on Chorlton Road, @GMPTrafford. The vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene. If you witnessed the RTC or have CCTV / Dashcam please contact GMP on 101 or crimestoppers 0800555111 quoting Log: 2305 of 29/11/21"
