Police are investigating after a man's body was discovered near Balloch Country Park this morning.
Officers have launched a probe into the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.
The area around the toilets at Balloch bus stand is currently cordoned off, with police officers and forensics teams seen investigating an area of land near the bus shelter.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11am on Sunday September 19, officers were made aware that the body of a man was found in the Balloch Road area of Balloch, Alexandria.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. Emergency services remain in the area.”
