
Police are investigating after a teenage girl was reportedly raped on a footpath near a golf club in south-east London on Monday.
The girl is understood to have been attacked on the trail off Perry Street, Crayford, close to Barnehurst Golf Course at just after 5pm on August 4.
Detectives attended the scene and took a statement from the victim, who is being supported by specialist officers.
An active investigation is underway and police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "At around 5.05pm on Monday, August 4, police responded to reports of a rape on a footpath off Perry Street, Crayford. Officers attended the scene and spoke with the victim, a teenage girl.
"She continues to be supported by specialist officers. Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made at the stage.
