Police are investigating after a man was found dead in Glasgow Central Mosque.
The body of the 80-year-old was discovered in the place of worship in the Gorbals at around 3:40am this morning.
Police arrived on the scene and taped off the entrance to the building at around 6:45am.
A spokeswoman for the force confirmed they will be carrying out a post-mortem.
She said: "At around 3:40am, police received a report of a 80 year old man's body being found within Glasgow Central Mosque in the Gorbals, Glasgow.
"A post-mortem will be carried out in due course to establish the circumstances of his death but it is currently being treated as not suspicious."
