A car flipped on its roof outside Gateshead's Queen Elizabeth Hospital following a crash.

Northumbria Police are now probing how the crash happened with the force issuing a public appeal for witnesses to come forward.
The smash occurred outside the entrance of the NHS site in Sheriff Hill.
"At about 9.40pm yesterday police received a report of a two-vehicle collision outside Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead," said a Northumbria Police spokesperson.
"Two people were taken to hospital but they did not suffer any serious injuries.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing and anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting log 1149 21/08/19."
The hospital has over 20 wards and an A&E unit and is part of the Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust.
