Police probe after body of man found in Gracemount, Edinburgh

A probe has been launched after a man was found dead within a property in Edinburgh yesterday morning.

Officers from Police Scotland were called to Linden Avenue in the Gracemount area of the city at around 11.30am on Thursday, July 25.

Soon after the discovery of the 54-year-old's body, cops taped off the house.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police in Edinburgh attended at an address in Linden Avenue at around 11.30am on Thursday 25th July where a 54-year-old man was found dead within.

"The death is being treated as unexplained at this time and inquiries are continuing."

The house remains taped off this morning as cops were spotted at the door of the property.
