Police praise paper for help in arrest of vandals

Police praised a newspaper, the Torquay Herald Express, after three young men pleaded guilty to a string of charges. The paper tipped off the police after receiving video evidence, posted on a website, of the men's vandalism and obscene behaviour. Acting Inspector Richard Hooper-Bennett said: "I would like to thank the Herald Express for their involvement." The trio have been remanded for reports being being sentenced.
