Police plea for help in finding missing teenage girl

The police today turned to the public in a bid to find a teenage girl who has vanished in Liverpool.

Merseyside Police today issued a photograph of Charlotte Walker who is at the centre of the missing person appeal.

Police confirmed the 17 year-old has been missing for several days and so far efforts to find the teenager have drawn a blank.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for help in finding a 17 year-old girl who is missing from home in Liverpool.

"Charlotte Walker was last seen at 6.45am on Saturday 30th January in the Fairfield area."

When last seen she was wearing a black T-shirt, a black jacket and black jogging bottoms.

She is described as a white female, 5ft 6in tall, of slim build with long, straight brown hair and blue eyes.

She speaks with a Liverpool accent.

Police said Charlotte is known to visit St Helens as well as Liverpool.
