Police officer's colleagues say he's a dead ringer for Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne

A new recruit at West Midlands Police is a dead ringer for a Manchester City star, according to his colleagues.

Stephen Adlam looks just like City midfielder Kevid De Bruyne, colleagues on the Birmingham Police team he has just joined have told him.

The police officer was in uniform with his Springfield police team in the south east of Birmingham for the first time last night, Birmingham Live reports.

The team posted a photo of Stephen next to one of the footballer to see if fans agreed on Twitter.

They captioned this post: "Meet our very own Kevin De Bruyne, (aka Stephen Adlam) in uniform today joining the Springfield WMP team, say hello to him, if you spot him on patrol.

"He is looking forward to meeting the community, playing a few games with the youth."

One commented: "Love this", while another suggested he was "More of a Zinchenko".

What do you reckon? Is Stephen a dead ringer for De Bruyne? Let us know in the comments below.

Belgian footballer De Bruyne began his career at Genk, before joining Chelsea in 2012.

Since joining Manchester City 2015, the 30-year-old has won three Premier League titles, five League Cups and an FA Cup with the club.
