A police oficer has been left in hospital after a horror Christmas Eve crash in Glasgow.
The collision happened on Broomielaw at King George V bridge in Glasgow around 8.30pm on Friday, December 24.
The force confirmed the crash involved a police car and a Hyundai.
Two officers were rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where one remains for treatment.
His condition is said to be stable.
Police have launched a probe into the incident, with enquiries ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries are continuing after a road crash involving a police car and a Hyundai that took place on Broomielaw at King George V bridge in Glasgow around 8.30pm on Friday, 24 December.
“The driver of the Hyundai did not require hospital treatment.
"The two police officers were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where one was released after treatment. One officer remains in hospital where hospital staff describe his condition as stable.”
