A Victorian police officer has been charged after allegedly assaulting another person while on duty.
The alleged incident happened in Derrinallum in the state's west on November 25 last year.
The 56-year-old leading senior constable was charged with one count of unlawful assault following an internal investigation.
He is due to appear before Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday.
