Police name woman, 55, who died after crash in Cotgrave

Police have named the victim of a fatal crash involving two cars and a lorry in Cotgrave.

Diane Bull, nee Teasdale, of Cropwell Bishop, was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the crash which happened in Stragglethorpe Road on Monday, March 18. She later died from her injuries.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the crash at around 3.40pm and the road was closed until the following morning at around 2.30am on Tuesday, March 19.

Mrs Bull's family has asked for privacy at this difficult time, police say.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson added: "We're appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or any drivers who may have recorded dashcam footage of the incident that have not already contacted the Police to get in touch with us.

"Anyone with any information is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 608 of 18 March 2019."
