Police have named a Merseyside man who has been charged with rape.
Gregory Padin, from Maghull, has been accused of raping a woman in Wigan.
The 42-year-old, of Liverpool Road North, is currently being held in custody.

Officers have confirmed that Padin will now appear at a hearing at Wigan Magistrates Court today, on Tuesday, February 15.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police, in Wigan, said: "A man has been charged in connection with the rape of a woman in Wigan.
"Gregory Padin (10/06/79) of Liverpool Road North, Merseyside has been charged with rape.
"He has been remanded in custody until a hearing at Wigan Magistrates Court on Tuesday 15 February 2022."
