Police have today named a man charged over the murder of dad-of-two Paul Stenson.
Paul Joseph Stenson, 30, from West Derby, died after being stabbed in the chest on Sunday, December 19.
He was taken to hospital from Princess Drive, West Derby, but he died a short time later.

Five people were arrested following the death of the dad-of-two and taken into custody for questioning.
In an update today, December 29, Merseyside Police confirmed Adam Fletcher, 28, of Palace Road, Liverpool, has been charged with murder.
He was charged on Christmas Eve and was remanded in custody this morning to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 31st January 2022.
A police spokesperson said: "Detectives have charged a man with the murder of Paul Stenson in West Derby this month.
"Officers were contacted at just after 6.30am on Sunday 19 December following reports that the 30-year-old had received a stab wound to his chest.
"Adam Fletcher, aged 28 of Palace Road, Liverpool was charged on Christmas Eve (Friday 24 December) and was remanded in custody this morning to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 31st January 2022."
The 30-year-old victim, known locally as 'Paul Mac', was a tree surgeon who 'loved the outdoors' and was 'well known' in the local community.
In a statement issued through Merseyside Police, his family said: "Paul was a hard-working and loving father. He leaves behind his son, daughter, mother and wife who he has been with for more than 15 years, they had been together since school and practically inseparable.
"As a Tree Surgeon our Paul loved the outdoors and was well known in the community as Paul Mac.
"Wherever he went someone would recognise and chat with Paul.
"His loss will leave our family devastated this Christmas and in the years to come."
