A police manhunt is underway following a reported robbery at a bank in Shawlands this afternoon.
Police were called around 1.45pm to the Royal Bank of Scotland branch on Kilmarnock Road.
Officers have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing, with a police helicopter having been dispatched earlier to assist their enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 1.45pm on Friday, 6 November, police were called to a report of a robbery at the Royal Bank of Scotland in Kilmarnock Road, Shawlands.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 1888 of 6 November, 2020."
