Police are searching for a Wallsend man wanted in connection with a serious assault.
Officers are keen to locate Karl Brierley, 35, following the incident on Peregrine Court, in North Shields , which was reported on December 17 and left a 44-year-old victim with serious injuries.
Efforts are ongoing to locate Brierley and a number of addresses have already been searched.
Northumbria Police has asked members of the community who know his whereabouts or who have recently seen him to come forward with information.
Brierley, or anyone with information which could help locate him, is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 158749G/19.
