Police manhunt as victim is robbed of £10k watch at White City Tube station

Police have launched a manhunt after a man was robbed of his £10,000 watch at a west London Tube station.

The victim, who is in his 20s, was approached by a man in the ticket hall of White City Underground station.

He attempted to take off the watch by violently tugging his wrists. He eventually forced the watch off before leaving the station in the direction of Harlesden.

The victim suffered swelling to his wrists.

British Transport Police (BTP) today released CCTV stills of a suspect as it appeals for information.

The robbery happened at about 11.15pm on July 26.

Anyone with information is asked to call BTP on 0800 40 50 40. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
