Police make further appeal for information as they bid to trace missing Lanarkshire woman

Concerns are growing for a woman from Lanark who has been missing since Saturday.

Police have again appealed for the public's help in tracing Shelly-Ann Daly.

Officers are continuing enquiries to help trace the 22-year-old who was last seen around 6.10pm on Saturday, June 19, at the Palace Grounds in Hamilton.

Inspector Tony Gallagher, of Lanark Police Station, said: " Shelly-Ann has been out of contact with her family and friends since Saturday evening, which is out of character and concerns are growing for her as a result.

"She is from Lanark but frequents Hamilton and was last seen there. We are working to establish her movements since she was last seen on Saturday so anyone at all who believes they may have seen her is urged to come forward.

"Our enquiries so far have found she may have spoken to a man at Hamilton Bus Station around 4.30pm on Saturday, June 19. We are keen to speak to this man to find out if she indicated where she was going so if you believe this may be you then please get in touch."

Shelly-Ann is described as being 5ft 5ins tall with brown hair, brown eyes and medium build. When last seen she was wearing a grey jumper, blue jeans, black and orange Nike trainers and carrying a brown and white bag.

The man she spoke to at Hamilton Bus Station is described as white, medium build, balding grey hair and wearing a full light grey tracksuit.

Anyone with information can contact 101 quoting incident 3992 of 19 June.
