Police make fresh appeal for missing Leigh woman to come home

Police have issued a fresh appeal to help trace a missing woman from Leigh .

Katherine Sinar, 30, went missing at around 4pm on Wednesday from Broadwell Drive.

It is believed she was found on Thursday, but has since gone missing again.

Officers think she has travelled to Wigan, possibly by public transport.

Katherine is 4ft 11 and has dark brown hair, which she often wears in a high ponytail.

She is thought to have been last seen wearing a navy blue Helly Hansen jacket with sky blue detail and possibly carrying a black rucksack with a small amount of red detail.

In a post on the GMP Leigh, Atherton and Hindley Facebook page, police said they are 'concerned for the welfare' of the woman.

An GMP spokesperson added: "Her family are worried about her and want her back home."

If you have any details about Katherine's whereabouts or happen to see her, contact police on 101.
