Police make drug arrest at Liverpool Central Station

Police have made an arrest at Liverpool Central railway station.

British Transport Police Merseyside said a suspect was detained for being drunk and disorderly, resisting arrest and being in possession of a controlled substance.

The force said that such behaviour is "unacceptable" and urged members of the public to "#knowyourlimit".

In a tweet sent at 1:02am on Sunday (January 9), BTP Merseyside wrote: "One person arrested at Liverpool Central railway station for being drunk and disorderly, resist arrest and possession of a control substance!

"This behaviour is unacceptable! #knowyourlimit"
