Police looking for these three teenagers after man stabbed in 'vicious' attack in Hale

Police want to speak to three teenagers after a man was stabbed in a 'vicious' attack in Hale.

Officers found the wounded man on Ashley Road at around 12.40am on Sunday, November 7.

The man, aged 22, had stab wounds to his stomach and legs and was taken to hospital from the scene.

Police have now released CCTV pictures of two men sat in Hale train station before the incident.

They are described as white and aged between 15 and 17.

One had curly hair, police said, and they were around 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in, of medium and skinny build and both wearing dark tracksuits.

Officers are looking for three teenagers (GMP)

A girl was also seen with them, who was aged around 15 to 17, had mid-length hair and was wearing a light tracksuit with a dark jacket.

Officers have released CCTV pictures of the three teenagers and are asking anyone who recognises them to come forward.

Anyone who recognises the people are being urged to get in touch (GMP)

Detective Constable Housley from GMP's Trafford Disctrict, said: "This was a vicious, unprovoked attack on a young man, and it's lucky that no-one was more seriously hurt.

"This kind of violent behaviour will not be tolerated, and we will continue to follow all lines of enquiry to ensure those responsible face the consequences of their actions.
