ACT Policing is searching for a man who allegedly assaulted a staff member at a store in Woden before fleeing with multiple pairs of sunglasses.
Police have released images of the man from CCTV footage and are seeking the public's assistance in identifying him.
According to ACT Policing, about 3.15pm on Saturday, July 4, 2026, the man wearing brown shoes, black pants, a black jacket with a grey hoodie underneath and a black cap, entered the Woden store and allegedly took multiple pairs of sunglasses.
He then allegedly assaulted a store employee who confronted him before exiting the store.
After enquiries, police are now seeking to identify the man allegedly involved in the incident.
