Police looking for man after reports knife allegedly pulled out during argument

A man is being sought in connection with an incident in Stapleford where a knife was pulled out during an argument.

Nottinghamshire Police officers were called to Derby Road where it was said a man was in an argument in the street.

Police constable Chris Archer, who is leading the investigation, said: "It was reported that a man produced a knife from the waist band of his trousers.

"We are issuing these images from local CCTV footage as we believe the man pictured can help us with our enquiries."

The incident happened at around 3.45pm on July 10 this year.

Police constable Archer added: "The images are really clear, so we remain positive that the general public will be able to help track the man down.

"The force treats knife crime extremely seriously, whether it takes place in public or a domestic setting, and we are absolutely committed to driving down knife crime and serious violence wherever it presents.

"If you recognise him please call 101, quoting incident number 441 of 10 July 2020."
