Officers in Dundee are appealing for help to find a man who may have been injured during an assault close to a school in Dundee.

The incident took place between 10.15pm and 10.30pm on Sunday, May 31, at Morgan Academy grounds in the city.

Cops are looking to trace the victim as they are now concerned for his welfare.

He is described as being in his 60s, with grey hair and wearing a blue t-shirt.

Police Constable Jo Greenlaw said: "We were made aware of an assault on footpath on the Pitkerro Road side of the school grounds. The victim made off from the scene and we need to trace the man to ensure he was not injured and that he is safe and well.

"If you are the man who may have be injured or you know who he is, please get in touch with Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 4360 of Sunday 31 May or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
