'Shooting' in Glasgow as cops rush to scene where man found seriously injured

A Scots street has been locked down by police after a man was found seriously injured following a suspected shooting.

A huge emergency services presence was reported on Westray Street in the Milton area of Glasgow.

At least four police vehicles and an ambulance can be seen in pictures posted on social media by No1seems2care.

According to local reports, cops have cordoned off Westray Street from the entrance at Berneray Street to just before the shops.

A police helicopter was also reported flying above the streets.

Cops confirmed that they are currently in attendance after a man was found seriously injured.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Emergency services are currently in attendance on Westray Street, Glasgow following the report of a man being found seriously injured.

"Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
