Police lock down Scots road following serious crash as emergency services race to scene

A Scots road has been locked down tonight following a serious crash.

Emergency services have raced to Fountainbleau Drive in Dundee, with the street being closed off by police officers.

Cops, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and ambulance crews have been called out to attend a one-vehicle crash.

Motorists have been urged to avoid the area, with local diversions being put in place.

It is not known if there have been any injuries at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 8.20pm following the report of a one vehicle road crash on Fountainbleu Avenue, Dundee.

"Emergency services are currently in attendance and there are no details of injuries at this time.

"The road is currently closed."

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called by police to assist and make the vehicle safe.

Two appliances were sent out, and they handed over the situation to cops at 9.30pm.
