Police are searching a Glasgow golf course amid an ongoing enquiry.
Officers wouldn’t say why they were at Knightswood Golf Course in Glasgow on Wednesday.
But reports emerged of police “digging up” a section of the course and pictures on social media showed a forensics tent over an area.
Eyewitnesses in the area claimed that officers had been on the scene from around 7.30am that morning.
Police said there was no danger to the public.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Officers are conducting a search of the area as part of an ongoing enquiry."
