Police lock down Ayrshire street as man found with injuries rushed to hospital

Police locked down and a man rushed to hospital with injuries following an incident in Ayrshire.

Officers received reports that the 37-year-old man was injured near Argyle Road in Saltcoats.

The incident occurred just after 1.30pm this afternoon.

Police say investigations into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.25pm on Tuesday, 23 November, officers were called to the Argyle Road area of Saltcoats, following the report of a 37-year-old man being found with injuries.

“He was been taken to hospital and enquiries into the incident are at an early stage.”
