Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing 15-year-old girl from the West Midlands who is believed to have travelled to South Yorkshire.
Jazmina was last seen around 12 p.m. on Tuesday, 26 August, in the West Midlands area. Since then, she has not been seen or heard from, prompting growing concern from officers and her family. Authorities believe she may now be in South Yorkshire.
In a statement, police said they are becoming “increasingly concerned for Jazmina’s welfare and would like to speak to anyone who has seen her.”
Jazmina is described as white, 5 feet 3 inches tall, and of slim build. She has straightened, shoulder-length dark brown hair with ginger and blonde roots. Distinctive features include tattoos on her hands and a rose tattoo located behind her ear.

When she was last seen, Jazmina was thought to be wearing grey jeans with rips at the knees, a black T-shirt, and black Nike Air Force trainers marked with an orange tick. These details, police said, may help members of the public recognise her if she is spotted.
Officers in both the West Midlands and South Yorkshire are working together to trace her whereabouts. Search teams are checking transport routes, CCTV footage, and speaking with people in areas where Jazmina may have travelled.
Family members have expressed their deep concern, stressing that it is unusual for her to be out of contact for this length of time. Police said every sighting or piece of information could be crucial in bringing her home safely.
Cases involving missing teenagers are treated with urgency by authorities, particularly when they are considered vulnerable. Officers explained that sharing descriptions quickly with the public can often help generate leads, as someone may have seen her without realizing she is missing.
The search has also gained attention on social media, where appeals with Jazmina’s photo and description are being widely shared by local residents hoping to support the investigation.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward immediately. “Can you help officers find Jazmina? If you have seen her or know where she may be staying, please contact us online or by calling 101 quoting incident number 733 of 26 August 2025,” the appeal read.
For now, officers remain focused on tracking Jazmina’s movements between the West Midlands and South Yorkshire, while her family continues to wait anxiously for news.
