Two teenagers who had been reported missing have now been found safe and well.
On Monday, Durham Constabulary launched an urgent search for Amber Gladstone and Hallie Hodgson who were reported missing after failing to turn up to school.
Amber and Hallie, both 14, left their homes in the Stanley area to go to school between 7.30am and 8am in the morning.
However, they did not arrive as expected and they were reported missing.
Officers became concerned for their welfare and launched an appeal to help track them down.
Now the police have put an update on their Facebook page saying the youngsters have been found safe and well.
A spokesperson for the constabulary said: "We are pleased to confirm that Amber and Hallie have both been found safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared this appeal and assisted us in our enquiries."
