Police launch urgent search for missing Scots hillwalker who may have got in trouble while out exploring

Cops have launched an urgent search for a missing Scots hillwalker who may have got into trouble while out exploring.

Isabel Wilson, 78, was last seen on the south shore of Loch Katrine near to Royal Cottage in Culligart, Stirling between 2pm and 3pm today.

She is a keen hillwalker and was believed to have been intending on exploring the Primrose Hill area.

However, Isabel has not been in contact with anyone since this afternoon, and could have got into difficulty while on the popular walking trail.

She is described as a white female, 5ft 5in tall and of an average build with short grey hair.

When she was last seen, she was wearing dark grey or black trousers, a blue top and was carrying a light coloured rucksack and walking pole.

Anyone who may have seen Isabel, or who has any information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 3713 of 4 August 2021.
