Northumberland teen found safe after going missing two weeks ago

A teenager who failed to return home two weeks ago has been found safe and well.

Officers were searching for 17-year-old, Kamil Miko, who was reported missing after failing to return to his Ashington home.

Kamil had not been heard from since June 13 and police were growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

However, following a search, Northumbria Police confirmed the teenager was found safe. A statement from the force said: "Missing teenager Kamil Miko from the Ashington area has now been found safe and well. Thank you for your help with our appeal."
